RIP Sparks

Goodbye, my sweet.

I’ve called Sparks a number of things over the years: my drink of choice, my one true love, my orange boyfriend.  But now I am being forced to only call it one thing- a memory.  A sweet, precious, delicious, energy-enhancing, inhibition-breaking memory.


I am going to buy myself a six-pack ASAP, and consume it exclusively upon/during the following occasions:

2008's best songs (Said the Gramophone)

2008 was full of great songs, and here’s a pretty good take on the best of ‘em.  STG’s bandwidth is the bomb, meaning you should turn off Pandora, use this time to charge your iPhone, and click through this playlist.

My dreams of living in India resurfaced today.  But since life won&#8217;t be taking me there anytime soon, I will fall back on watching my favorite movie tonight- Water.  Water is a masterful and controversial critique of how widows are treated in certain Hindu communities. Netflix it, Bittorrent it, get off your ass and Blockbuster it (if that still exists)- it&#8217;s that good. Coming soon! A review of my second favorite movie of all time- Son-In-Law.
